Commonwealth Land Surveyors, Inc. (CLS) was founded in May of 1998, in Providence, Rhode Island, as a multi-disciplinary Professional Land Surveying Firm. CLS is dedicated to the goal of providing a single source professional service to public and private clients.
Since its inception, the firm has experienced steady growth and range of services offered. Presently, we provide comprehensive services including FEMA Flood Elevation Certificates, Expert Witness Testimony, GPS data collection, Bridge Surveying for design and construction, Existing Condition Surveys for utility as built and design, Construction Layout Services, Commercial and Residential Perimeter Surveys and ALTA surveys.
The CLS staff is comprised of Registered Professional Land Surveyor licensed in the State of Rhode Island and The Commonwealth of Massachusetts with over 27 years of experience, three Party Chiefs with a combined 38 years of experience, and GPS/Robotic technicians and instrument operators. These professionals have helped to create, and maintain, an environment that constantly strives for excellence.
The experience of CLS covers a broad range of projects for state highway departments, cities and towns, private real estate developers, bridge building and construction firms, consulting engineering firms, architects, and landscape architects.
